Side reins run from the bit or lunge cavesson to the roller. They are designed to encourage flexion and softness in the horse's mouth. Recommended for use by experienced handlers only - when used improperly they can unduely restrict the horse's movement.

This model is made from leather which buckles on at the roller end and snaps on at the bridle end for quick and easy release. They also feature a short elastic section with a leather loop designed to allow a limited amount of "give".
